It is a difficult thing to describe all the feelings of a depressed person because depression is a very complicated problem. Different people react to depression differently. So, discussing all the facts and figures of depression is not possible for a layman. I am sharing my own findings on how a depressed patient feels? let's discuss
- First thing is that a person who’s suffering worst depression feels that life is very hurting and painful and a mental agony. The patient feels sick at heart due to any reason like a sudden change in life, financial problem, relationship failure or something like that affects a person’s life very much.
- Biggest torment for a person in depression is an emotional gap that he may feel between himself and others persons in surroundings.
- At first place, that person will not share his feelings with anyone else. Secondly, if that person will try to share or get open to someone else he will feel inconsolable.
- The patient feels so much gloomy and thinks that being alone at home is tenfold times better than being with friends or someone else in public.
- Everything of day to day activity feels very joyless and he may consider himself dull, boring woebegone and keeps himself alone intentionally.
- During the depression he cannot focus on anything, concentration is very difficult while fighting with depression.
- Patient of depression can also feel that he doesn’t have any energy to get out of bed and go outside to do something
- Depression patient spends more sleepless nights because it is very hard to sleep with rough thoughts in your mind. He continuously thinks about his past failures and hard times. That person will think about all the negativity that he had in his life
